LAME. Matt Wiman sucks nuts. Yeah, you can have great guard but if you don’t do anything else then you’re not winning the round! Why did he not go for any submissions? There was plenty of opportunity to throw a leg lock or an arm lock on him while he was swinging down on him. That last minute and a half was bullshit on Wiman’s part. He finally gets him down and for some reason he turned his back to him and came close to being choked out. WTF?

Wiman started off on the wrong foot I thought. Seemed like he was shying away in the exchanges right from the start. When they moved in to exchange, rather than keeping his eyes on his opponent and using head movement/footwork to avoid and counter, he was just ducking his head like a noob. To someone who can through a decent punch, all you’re doing is putting your head in the perfect spot to get tagged. Gave up the momentum and it was pure domination from there.

I thought Wiman looked horrible. I really considered him a better fighter than that, but that first round his punches looked so slow and short and he just got run over. He looked like he didn’t want to be there really.
