Glory World Series – United Glory 15 Videos of Jerome Le Banner vs Errol Zimmerman. The bout took pace on 03/23/2012 in Dynamo Sport Palace, Moscow, Russia.
I ain’t no fighting expert but…Le Banner was once a dominant kickboxer. Erroll Zimmerman, from Golden Glory, was known for being inconsistent during training and lacking preparation for a fight. Zimmerman dominated Le Banner with a beautiful display of technical counters and explosiveness. But Zimmerman isn’t even close to Alistair Overeem as a kickboxer…have I underestimated Overeem’s stand up or both fighter’s are just low ranked fighters now?
Le Banner is is an old man now, he can beat up most human beings but competing with a 26 year old is a little hard these days. He is definitely slower.
Jerome looks much different in the face these days. Especially in the eyes… the spark just seems to be gone. I hope his mental health is still OK.
How odd it is that they didn’t have any slow-mo replays of the knock downs….
Errol Zimmerman is m*********** beast!! I trained with him at Golden Glory Breda. And the truth is that I didnt know who he was. I was aiming to see Alistair or Saki. But none of them went that day. I just saw this guy with a belly and said. Wow this guy is huge. And I am 5’9.
Anyways I was training with the pros but I couldnt concentrate because watching him train is definitely something you have never seen before. He kicks so fluid, so fast aand so hard is unbelievable. I said to him without knowing him. You are a beast. And he said thanks. I asked him. How do you do it? He said it comes natural to me.
Just sharing this story because is definitely one of the best experiences training there with those animals. I did train with Dekkers also. Which is a complete other story.
Great fight Errol!
Thanks @Hugo for the input. That was really interesting!
How does Jerome breath out of that nose? It doesn’t even look like its connected to the base of his nasal passages.
Le Banner could’ve taken a couple of unnecessary punches if it wasn’t for that timely stoppage. Good refereeing!
Thank you Hugo for sharing this story!
anybody else cant stand that ring announcer?
Lebanner is my favorite kickboxer but he’s getting a bit old.And this is not like boxing, you get broken arms and you get your legs injured. So him fighting at that age with peices of metal in his body is just so much more impressive.
