Dos Santos would have no chance against either Klitchko.

You assume it’s a boxing match.

Dos Santos is a very good MMA fighter.But if he thinks he can beat any top 10 boxers , he must smoke weed.
MMA fighters and boxers must realise that each discipline is very different and neither can adapt to the other
If Dos santos fights Klitscko or any top 10 boxer, he will be ko’d very quickly and badly

In boxing JDS would get killed but:

JDS can(T)KO Vitali and Vladimir, in MMA.

Hey if he can take Carwin down….how are the Klitchko bros going to stop him from taking them down and GNP’ing the s*** out of them (thus taking home the TKO victory).

Or he could just GNP them to the point that they are wobbly….let them stand back up, and then go for the finish.

@NoelG but dos santos would easily win in a real fight.Its much easier to train for one discipline.MMA fighters are just that,fighters not just boxers.

Dos Santos made a self-promoting remark when he said that, but I don’t think he would jump in and take Klitschko right away if he moved to boxing. Brazilians don’t really have a good track-record in Boxing and, Dos Santos could probably be a match for the current Brazilian champion, George Arias, but not against Klitschko or any top 10 in the world.

Vitali Klitschko aka Dr. Ironfist:
Along with a huge height and reach advantage on Dos Santos he has a Phd in Sports Science. He was World Kickboxing champion 6 times over with a 34-1 record until he turned to Boxing where he is now World Champion with 45-2 record with 41 KO’s under his belt(80 amateur KO’s, and his 2 losses are from a hurt shoulder and cut, he has never actually lost a pro fight). That is the best knockout to fight ratio in heavyweight boxing history next to Rocky Marciano, who is only better by .5%. He even went to Japan and fought in Pancrase and won. He is an elected congressman in the Ukrainian parliament and a delegate of the Congress of the Council of Europe as well as a city councilman in Kiev after losing the Mayoral election. Oh and he grew up taking Sambo due to his father being a Soviet Air Force Major General. Avid chess player and huge charity donator and organizer for schools and children. Happily married with 3 children.

The guy is a f^cking stud. His life alone would KO Dos Santos. I won’t even get started with his bigger younger stronger also current Heavyweight champion of the world Wladimir. Together they own all the belts in the world, and would easily take JDS’s. But MMA still >Boxing.

But do you see the reason why K is so talented, he learned how to improve his boxing by learning many styles. The same is true of JDS and thats why he would do great in boxing.
Its harder to throw any combination in MMA and alot easier in Boxing. The reason why is you have more counters to worry about in an MMA fight. So if JDS enters boxing he will be able to get his combos off easier due to the fact that he already knows how to get them off in harder(MMA)situations.
