Watching this fight, I noticed something was enjoyable. No announcers. Hmmm…that’s a thought. Good fight for Mayhem, handled him easily. I think the ring entrances were more entertaining than the fight.

why was that fight even put together? im a big kala fan being im from hawaii but that fight had kala losing from the time it was announced. BIG mismatch, VERY big mismatch. mayhem is light years ahead of kala when it comes to fighting.

Mayhem is a good fighter. He’s pretty well rounded and his jitsu skills are up there with the best. On the other hand Kala should seriously learn to defend takedowns, and focus on improving his ground game (after this sport is called MMA). Mayhem ran a clinic on Kala from the moment he got the takedown and secured the mount.

Second, why doesn’t Mayhem ever fight someone worthwhile or up to his skill level? That actually really annoys me.

Yeah, this was an Apollo Creed – Rocky fight. The bigtime pro fights the hometown hero, etc…except Kala had no business being in the ring with Mayhem. Entertaining asswhooping, but total mismatch. Miller’s whole career has revolved around those, either being in them or more recently, setting them up (a la Bully Beatdown).
All respect to the guy, he’s a good fighter, but let’s see how his upcoming round in DREAM goes.
