I agree with the post above. I think Varner is a tough worker and a good fighter. He had a bad start in the UFC (getting finished by Franca) and had a boring title defense against Cerrone because of a broken foot, but I think he is right that he always brings it and it should be a good fight against Lauzon of whom I’m also a fan. Interesting that Varner is a teammate of Bendo because Varner previously lost his WEC belt to Ben Henderson (Jan. 2010). Maybe they started training together after that fight.
