Also…a side note: Toney wants to compare pay? Boxing used to be an established sport, that had been around for hundreds of years. As it eventually became a mere segment of MMA, making some of the best boxers only useful as coaches to mixed martial artists, the pay scale has begun to shift. Considering UFC has only recently made network deals worth talking about while boxing has managed to turn out 1 or 2 fights in the last 4 or 5 years that fight fans even care to talk about and is gradually slipping into senile paralysis….the whole thing will soon change. Jon Jones is already a millionaire. Even if he hasn’t earned a million in pay yet and never fought again, he will earn millions in endorsements, commentary jobs etc. Superstars like him and Silva in the very near future will be raking it in. Meanwhile boxing is all but defucnt. Go ahead and brag about those pay checks hotshot. They won’t be around much longer.
