I agree, that fight should have been stopped 20 punches before it was. Just because he is standing and leaning on the corner does not mean he is defending himself. No matter , Don Frye is Legend!
The ref didn’t stop the fight because he was mesmerized by Don Fry’s mustache’s ability to absorb 50% of those blows.
wow. his corner men should be fired. that’s why they are told to keep the towel in their hand. they let their fighter absorb about 20 unnecessary blows.

Oh man, that bullhead stare down at the beginning was good. Don was so bagged at the end he couldn’t lift his arms. His only defence was to roll with the punches as best he could.

Actually, James Thompson lost in the 3rd round to Kimbo Slice and easily won round 2. So you should think about what you say before you say it. Also, I think gunny was being sarcastic when he said James Thompson has evolved since all his fights are the same.
Terrible stoppage. I love Don Frye. If I were down there I would have really been tempted to take a baseball bat to Thompson’s knees and end his short and pathetic career. That potato sack isn’t fit to wipe the sweat from Don Frye’s balls.
