Jake Ellenberger vs. Jay Hieron Fight Video UFC on FX 5
dance contest
Jake and Jay forgot that they were in a fight.
wow wat a let down
ellenberger vs Gunner Nelson NEXT!!!!!!
I’m a fan of Jake but I don’t understand how jake got that win. I swear TAKEDOWNS are worth waaay to much in the sport of mma. you can get outstruck 3to1 the whole round and you get a single take down and you are awarded the round?
This sport kills me at times..
That leap to avoid the take down.. epic
@stepTOF you nailed 100%. a take down counts for way too much especially when nothing is done with it.i thought for sure jay won but once again judges get it wrong.jay was way busier,what a f****** joke.
@stepTOF
That’s a cheap tactic to win rounds in a broken judging system.Imagine if there wasn’t any time limit.Do you think guys would do a takedown to land a takedown for points?Not at all all,guys would want to finish the fight and nobody would grapple just sto grapple.They would at leats try something.You can’t get rid of time limits and time limits won’t change everything but that mentality of “stealing” a round with a takedown would go.
Ridiculous decision!
Im disappointed as well as his corner was of Randy and gang that Jay Hieron didnt attack more and let his hands go. It looked like a long sparring session, never a fight.
Personally I dc for jake, but seriously shuttt up already about the “take down”. Anyone here ever had some take your legs out on a double shot or a single? when it keeps happening it hurts like a s.o.b esp in your neck and shoulders. Seriously STFU, if you can do better, join a gym and get off here
I don’t know what you guys were watching. Ellenberger followed up a takedown in Round 2 with some sharp elbows to the face that bloodied Hieron. Was it a hugely exciting scrap? No, but what did Hieron do to earn the judge’s nod? I didn’t see anything that would warrant giving him the win. He’s a journeyman with experience who wasn’t about to fight wild and get knocked out. That’s about all he accomplished.
