TBH i didnt feel Jake committed himself in this fight, he stuck to his game plan and counter punched rather well.

Diego will always be the same, but his jumping forward looping hooks were to easy for Jake to counter.

I wish it had been 5 rounds, i admire Diego’s heart and spirit. But he needs to evolve ever so slightly or he will be left behind.

but he has 2 fight of the years you cant take away the fact he is an animal

@MMADude and SinkTheHooks – I’m going to have to agree with KungFuLowKick on this. That could have been a 10-8 first round, Sanchez got busted up and dropped once and rocked right at the end of the round. He couldn’t put any hands on Ellenberger either, he pretty much just got beat up. It was a super one-sided first round for Ellenberger.

Diego is lost, wrong game plan, bad standup, hands always down when punching or kicking; btw, he got caught many times.
Sanchez was a badass dude when wrestling and ground and pound. Long time ago.
What happened to him?
After his fight against the Carpenter, he has not been the same at all…and I have followed Diego since his debut.
