Ellenberger dominated, he just made one mistake in that last round. Diego never gives up that was a great ending. Props to Ellenberger for getting back to his feet and immediately swinging for the fences to end he fight.

There must be a positional penalty charged for using the fence to escape, or even worse, reverse position!

5 rounders are only for Fox and PPV. They don’t have them for Fuel. A unfortunate circumstance for this fight. Regardless it was a great fight to watch. Like him or not Sanchez puts on some good fights.

That could have been a 10-8 first round, Sanchez got busted up and dropped once and rocked right at the end of the round. He couldn’t put any hands on Ellenberger either, he pretty much just got beat up. It was a super one-sided first round for Ellenberger.

TBH i didnt feel Jake committed himself in this fight, he stuck to his game plan and counter punched rather well.
Diego will always be the same, but his jumping forward looping hooks were to easy for Jake to counter.
I wish it had been 5 rounds, i admire Diego’s heart and spirit. But he needs to evolve ever so slightly or he will be left behind.
