When this chump fought jake shields shields lost because of the mental aspect. This guy praises carlos condit because he lost to him. He doesnt give nick diaz enough credit but after seeing him fight bj penn he toned it down. Carlos condit lost to jake shields. This guy sais the dumbest s*** and doesnt have a clue how good nick diaz and the top guys are.

If a fighter doesn’t believe that they could be the champion if given a chance, then why even fight at that level?

What do you want him to say? “I think about half of the division could beat me. Oh, I could never be champion.”

Sounds like Jake is looking for his payday against GSP. GSP needs to get by Nick first, which is still questionable. I’d like to see Jake against Nick so he can see what top notch striking is like.

Jake is a journeyman. Take a look at his record (26-5). Jake’s lost to all the big names accept one Jake Shields. Now he has delusions of grandeur thinking he can take on the best? Humility is a good thing which is lacking in many of the up and coming fighters. Call it the Sonnen sympton.

Jake will hold the belt in the welterweight division. He is nothing like Matt Seirra. Not even close. Tired of watching boring GSP, the guy has evolved into a point fighter. Really don’t care how much he wins, I’d rather see a good fight, win or lose. Jake is young, strong, hungry, and he’s definately fighting to finish his opponents, unlike GSP. GSP took 5 rounds to outpoint Shields and he came out damaged. Ellenberger finished him in the first, like GSP should have. That tells me GSP is afraid of losing, rather than fighting to win. If GSP is that great he should be finishing every opponent. Anyway, Jake will definately take the belt from GSP and GSP won’t be able to get it back.
