Ion Cutelaba (1-0) is only 18 years old but walks around at over 250lbs. Julian Chilikov came into the fight with a record of (4-2).
This is only the second pro MMA fight for Ion Cutelaba but he has already won the Moldovan championship in Judo, Combat Sambo and is now the European champion in Combat Sambo.

Bruno: If nobody tries to “teach” him how to fight he could make some great fights to watch. Sambo and Judo is a great combo to be good at. He is a mix of Ice Cold and Fedor. Some submission defense and that would be hard to defeat. I think he would be a top 15 UFC heavyweight right now.
I wouldn’t want to throw punches this way, against anyone who can fight, your opponent will dodge and counter. That might hurt, specially if you went are fully stepping in your punches.
For this technique, you better know how to roll with the punches.

Really?a top 15 UFC heavyweight?After watching 1 fight of him beating a nobody? How do you know this guy doesnt have the cardio of baroni?and he was just winging punches and going all out…To say he could make some exciting fights is one thing,but to say UFC and his name in the same sentence is asinine.
Bruno: I have watched quite a few of his Sambo and Judo matches. When I said top 15 I was more thinking he had a good chance of beating anyone below the top 15 UFC fighters. Christian Morecraft, Pat Barry, Chris Tuchscherer, Joey Beltran, Mike Russow, Ben Rothwell.
I remember seeing this kid before. If he gets into the right hands, then damn, he could have a great great future.

It was impressive but the guy he was fighting was really unimpressive too.When he learns how to boxe he will be champ.Especially since he’s only 18 he will learn pretty quickly.
Raw power is one thing but boxing technique is another Bruno. Any experienced fighter in the UFC would not stay in front of this guy with his looping power hooks. Although i wouldn’t mind seeing him fight the people you mentioned.

He has amazing Sambo skills as well. Refine his striking and get a little BJJ, this guy will be a UFC contender….

I think Bruno spotted something many of you are missing. This guy is not really “raw.” Although young, he is an experience world-level fighter in Sambo and Judo. That’s a better background than most fighters his age starting MMA.
His looping pinches actually have some nice spring to them, which makes him a tough target to hit, like the two people Ozinator mentioned above.
Of course he needs training, but walking around at 250, makes him a medium size HW with lots of speed and power and a great base. Keep in mind that, still today, most HWs are very slow and have awful technique with the exception of the very top elite. So, this kid could definitely make some noise soon.
This kid has all the potential and he’s only 18 reminds me of Vitor knocking blocks off at just 18. If he can hook up with the Blackzilians this kid will be unstopable and he’s a small quick 250 he only looks about 220 to me.
The guy’s name is Ion! You can’t mess with that. also the other guy was spurting blood. Anyways, the other guy failed when he decided to slug it out with him, moving strictly forward.
This kid is still growing.
He needs a lot of Striking training to be able to with top UFC HW’s.

so many experts in here talking smack about his bad punching form and level of opponent. Fedor swore by looping because they connected even when the hands were up defending straights or crosses. Said it didn’t work in boxing because of the gloves but this isn’t boxing. I wasn’t even talking his hand speed…the kid is super aware and was ducking while launching. it wasn’t just movement, he was reacting to everything. Don’t know how he’ll get to the big stage, but he is special to have that kind of striking instinct AND top level Judo/Sambo
