i kinda like the half point system once he explained it. keep the 10 point must but yeah if the round was even exceept one guy scored a takedown at the end or scored one but did no damage with it then yea it should be 10-9.5. that leaves room for the guy that got taken down to come back and win the next round decisively and earn a 10-9 round and have a 1/2 point edge which he rightly deserves.

OK so why instead of a 9.5 why don’t we just make a 10-8 round a 10-6 instead? We have numbers all the way to 0 why don’t we use them instead of adding a half a point. Also, another thing that would make MMA a lot better is to remove the idea of positioning in scoring. It would encourage wrestlers to pass and strike more instead of laying in the guard.
