WOW looks like he’s of the sauce. Looks soft and less muscular than ALL his other fights. How ironic! The problem is that you cant look a certain way for so long and then expect everyone to believe you are losing muscle training lol.. ALL fighters take something. JDS is agreat MMA fighter.But please stop with his boxing;the guy is a mediocre boxer.His left hand is very often down and there are holes in his guard.If he fights a good striker ther is place for a right hand .As left handed, Mir can surprise with a counter right hand.

africa unity-You contradicted your point that JDS is a mediocre boxer in a sport where you have to be good at all aspects of fighting. So to say he is a mediocre boxer is a huge compliment. We all know that JDS is not stepping in to a boxing match anytime soon with his skill set. I thought that was a given? The point is that he would have a smoother transition than other fighters if he were to do such a thing. Like if he trains with Freddie Roach for 6 months for a boxing match i bet he would look a lot more polished. And if you think Mir could surprise him with a counter right you are dreaming. Mir is gonna play hurt and try to sucker him in for the sub.

I hear dos santos is the favorite 5 to 1. hmmmm, mir’s got experience, southpaw, and is the best HW submission artist. Could be a bad recipe for dos santos… but his takedown defense is so good, so maybe it will go how everyone thinks it will.

He’ll get figured out soon like Chuck did. Chuck was killing it with his superb striking and excellent takedown defense like JDS is now. Albeit, he threw some looping haymakers and started to slow – everyone falls, and JDS is no exception.

i ve recently watched his early fights in the ufc with mirko,and gilbert yvel,in those fights his boxing looked awefull it was sloppy and looked as if he was slaping not punching them with flat footwork and bad orientation,it makes me think how good is he or how bad the other guys in striking really are,and how bad am i in training when looked from an outside perspective,but on the lighter side i think hes improved and is crisper now and has a lot more to show,still overeem has much much better technique im sure of it,and with all the talk about steroids he looks like he lost good 3-5 kg of muscle,too much relaxing or something else…
