Should have used the flying drop kick, that might have worked

Wow!! Minowa looked so mediocre and one dimensional here. Wrestling alone is not enough to beat an opponent like Kin. Nice use of leg kicks, knees and clinch-work by Kin. Looks like all those Karate lessons paid off. I’m really starting to see the logic (the UFC uses) behind standing fighters up when no progress is being made by either fighter on the ground. Under UFC rules Minowa probably wouldn’t have lasted to a decision.

I don’t because that can(and actually do) change the outcome of the fights.

Btw;The refs keep doing bad calls on that because the (mainstream)public just like slug feasts and don’t underdstand anything beyond that.

Agreed!! Standing up fighters that are doing absolutely nothing on the ground does change the outcome of the fight. It allows the fighter who actually came to FIGHT… fight!! And the fighter that wants to lay on top of someone and cuddle may actually have to defend himself. I’m all for a great display of Jiu-jitsu and wrestling. But that involves attempting to pass the guard, striking from the guard and attempting sweeps and submissions from the bottom. None of these were happening in this fight. Neither man was the least bit impressive on the ground and that is why the crowd was treated to a snoozer of a fight. (mainstream my ass… it’s called getting it right)

How many times fights were stopped just because of the booooing and not because the fighters not being active on the ground????!!!!Right…to many.

Btw:The UFC hardly is the pioneer of that rule. The refs just don’t use it right and thats the big difference.
