Igor missed the left hook but the right straight pretty much ended the fight. The second right to the temple on the way down was overkill. Ouch. Brutal knockout.

Not sure that record is correct. Hes lost to rampage, Overeem, Cro Cop, Herring and some others. Hes 47-9-1. Brutal KO tho.

After Royce I learned GJJ, then I saw this small guy knocking everybody out, so fast and powerful.
I was more scared of him than Mark Kerr….

Bruno:He has a lot of health problems now. His body is paying for all of those bare knuckle fights before his PRIDE years. You won’t see him fighting again I am very sorry to say.

I’ve only seen this as a highlight on knockout compilations as well. Crazy how that’s basically all there was to it.
Hands down Igor as to be one of the greatest of all time. Well at least in my mind.

I’ve said it before in response to a Wand fight in vale tudo, boxing without taping your hands and wearing gloves is retarded. Igor’s crippled hands are the proof. Boxers wear 8 ounce gloves and they still manage to break their hands. It’s actually called a boxer’s fracture!
