Cerrone couldn’t imagine that the kid was going to do such a dumb move to actually position his chin to get hit. It’s a lack of defensive instinct that I see a lot in people who usually won’t do well in fighting.
Maybe the kid will learn, but I give it 85% chance that he will either give up before 6 months or never really try to compete.
Also, even a professional fighter falls when hit on the button. That’s why they keep their chin tucked and their hands high.
