Where is stich? Thats one of the best things about fighting in the big show, getting taped up by stich.

Now how are u supposed to knock someone out with pillows on ur fist? And arent they supposed to be BEHIND the knuckels? Amature rules requier it to be an inch behind the knuckels.

Rest assured, that gauze doesn’t do much at all with a full punch. It’s gonna protect your knuckles a bit, but not really gonna soften the blow.
And yea, those tape jobs require a LOT of tape. We’d go through half a roll with ankle tapes, which is far less intricate. And in a lot of the pro leagues in sports, the only use the roll once, and discard the rest. And that tape is NOT cheap.

Yeah you guys should watch a video with Stitch called “giving a fighter one more round”. It basically outlines how to be a cut man. There is a whole section on hand taping for mma. That dude is awesome at what he does. After paying close attention to him and Tabbs. I truly feel a fighter is at a disadvantage if he gets Tabbs in his corner.

Bloody knuckles, it is apparent that you’ve never participated in full contact fight sport before or have never trained. As a fighter, your hands are your tools. They are made up of tiny bones. You must protect them at all cost. When you punch an opponent you are not punching a rubber balloon, but instead bone and muscle. Taping or wrapping your hands protect these tiny bones and hold them together. Oh trust me, a solid shot will still knock you out.
