What you guys need to realize that when houston alexander was getting hit on the ground and he went flat on his back what do you think would have happened if Steve Mazzagatti didn’t step in James irvin just would have kept hitting him and if he wasn’t knocked out he would have been.

dude if steve mazzagatti let it go any longer, then alexander still wouldve been knocked out. just like rogan pointed out that houston went limp after irvin made contact, if irvin stayed on top still serving him punches after he was already limp then alexander still wouldve been K.O’ed. plain and simple you idiots

On to another topic, i think george st pierre should move up a weight class and face silva for the belt, he is so much bigger than ppl in his weight class man, its not even fair. That rule about stopping a fight if a fighter is not intelligently defending himself needs to be re-worded because anybody who throws punches like a boxer and stands toe to toe in the pocket eating one to give one isn’t intelligently defending himself,lol! People who think that it was stopped early are used to boxing were a guy gets knocked down with a concussion and as long as he can get back up before the count of ten, he can get a second concussion and end up dying later that night. That doesn’t happen in mma. And btw that wasn’t technically a superman punch because Irvin didn’t jump through the air, he just faked a kick then threw the KO punch.
