Alexander was looking good and fighting smart for once. Log in to Reply lol March 31, 2012 Dreadful commentary. All they did was talk over each other and babble. Good fight though. Log in to Reply BigPapa March 31, 2012 I hate that announcer. Log in to Reply Pope March 31, 2012 Yvel looked horribly slow. I thought he was gonna get knocked out for sure. Log in to Reply Ozinator March 31, 2012 commentary took away from the fight Log in to Reply PitfighterZ March 31, 2012 Wow! Gilbert looked like a freaking giant next to Houston. Alexander hitting the scale at 203 and Gilbert at 206 may explain that… @gibby35412: I agree. I don’t remember the last time I’ve seen Alexander this light and quick. But with that weight difference, all it needs is one shot. Log in to Reply kbf March 31, 2012 Best looking Houston i ever saw. Dot ever count out the Hurricane Log in to Reply D.B.S.HOMIE March 31, 2012 the commentators sound like those fake ass mma dudues on youtube. badasssss ko tho Log in to Reply PRESIDENT EISENHOWER March 31, 2012 Jens Pulver does not need to be an announcer, dude took too many ass whoopins and forgets that the world is listening too him. Kinda starting to get tired of Mauro too, he’s lost his funny cliche sayings…and now is only saying stuff that I cant relate to or know what hes talkin about. Pat Mil + Randall Couture = Success Houston should have kept moving laterally and firing off hooks or a right straight. He seemed to have Yvel right where he wanted him in the early minutes…just ate a shot then ran into a bomb. Log in to Reply bob hopeless March 31, 2012 yvel looked 40 pounds bigger. Log in to Reply mr. lower case March 31, 2012 that was beautiful. great sportsmanship. commentator was maurel and lil evil and some other dude, a little over talked but i’d rather listen to them than the strikeforce team. Log in to Reply KouNTa KuLCHa March 31, 2012 Was there any doubt this was going to happen? Sure, Houston looked good, but that dude has waaay too much goin on in life right now to have his head in the fight. I see him every once in a while at this barber shop I frequent. Dude has like 10 kids, several jobs…he’s a stand-up guy. Gilbert did what Gilbert does…fight and get the KO. Another tattoo for Mr. Yvel. 😉 Good night of fights, thanx for the upload Lord Bruno. We’re not worthy!!!♠ Log in to Reply Thxer March 31, 2012 I gotta agree with mr. lower, I’ll take Jens and Mauro over SD commentators any day. Log in to Reply marvelous mad madam mim March 31, 2012 rofl these commentators rock, this stoner guy is hilarious “yeaahhhh!” Log in to Reply casyboy March 31, 2012 i thought the whole thing was entertaining as heck, the enthusiasm of the commentaters was great… Log in to Reply tobes March 31, 2012 none of you watched MMA any longer than the past year? the commentator is Jens Pulver. How come no one else recognized the voice? Log in to Reply tobes March 31, 2012 D.B.S homie – the fact that you’re an MMA noob, and didn’t recognize Pulver’s voice, then call him a “fake mma dude” is hilarious and ironic Gilbert to me looked patient and a HUGE LHW, one of the biggest LHW’s I’ve ever seen. He was MUCH bigger than Alexander. He also showed great respect after the fight. I love fighters who show respect like that (although Yvel also angrily knocked out a ref one time haha) Log in to Reply Dream Machine... March 31, 2012 It Yvel is going to fight like that @ 205, he needs to be in the UFC. Love to see Yvel vs. Vera Log in to Reply YourGettingADellDude April 1, 2012 Is Carlos Santana in Alexanders corner?? hahahah Log in to Reply Mcrocop April 1, 2012 houston alexander = glass jaw Log in to Reply Oswald Cobblepott April 1, 2012 What a comeback, Yvel got in tremendous shape and was comfortable the whole time. Not to mention one of the class acts in the fight game. Aoki hope saw that. Log in to Reply Gnok Gnik April 1, 2012 Alexander is the picture perfect definition of a glass cannon. Log in to Reply cigronne April 1, 2012 I loved Yvel’s sportmanship, it makes me feel proud of this sport Log in to Reply scottc April 1, 2012 I think Houston should give up on making any type of comeback. Jens is so punch drunk he has been relegated to being a sideshow clown. Log in to Reply steamer April 1, 2012 Alexander chin has never really been one of his strong points Log in to Reply Tempted April 2, 2012 Looks like a welterweight vs a heavyweight. I can’t stand Alexander. Never liked him but the Kimbo bitch out made me hate him. Log in to Reply BJ Penn April 2, 2012 Respect to Yvel for waiting until his opponent was ok before he celebrated! That should be the new trent in MMA. Respect fool! Log in to Reply BJ Penn April 2, 2012 Respect to Yvel for waiting until his opponent was ok before he celebrated! Log in to Reply KungFuLowKick April 6, 2012 @BJ Penn Yeah he has to be very nice to people all the time because he alost lost his right to fight because of his very very poor sportsmanship. He got 3 DQs that were ridiculous. He KOed a ref once because the ref broke them up and he was trying to put them back in the same position they were,it made him mad somehow so he knocked him out.He also gouged Don Frye’s eyes and he bit another guy so Yvel is the last guy who should be called on his “good” sportsmanship. He does that because he got some fights canceled because of those dirty DQs.
