As always, even to promote a women’s fight these chauvinistic pigs need to talk down on everything many women athletes had to endure. Ronda may be a superstar, but she wouldn’t have a job without the Japanese organizations of the 1990s, the few American orgs. that embraced it from the beginning and fighters like Gina Carano, Tara LaRosa and the many other veterans of the sport.
Even with Ronda in the UFC, I think if you want to talk about the history of WMMA, Invicta still have a much deeper meaning for the sustainability of WMMA than Rousey.
Superstars may be important, but truly committed orgs. are what keeps the sport going.

Yeah, “according to the UFC”. That’s disrespectful to all those who came before Rhonda. This is purely a UFC promotion. Not hating, just missing a lot of info.
