hideo tokoro is so good on the ground that it is just beautiful to watch him submit power driven fighters such as this jerk. You can tell just by watching him fight that he is a power driven jerk. The technician will usualy win.

Great Bjj skills…but what was Morkevicius trying to do with the front flip? really the wrong way to escape a triangle …if one could escape one that was so deep..

wow, that was an ill-advised “escape” attempt from the triangle. stepping over and wrapping your opponent with your legs, then leaning back, is one way to escape a deep triangle. Its a move I saw Renzo Gracie use–and its worked for me as a desperation escape–better than the weird front flip, which does nothing except torque your neck

What kind of a dick strikes an opponent off of the initial tap of the gloves? Hideo is one of the scariest BJJ guys I have ever seen. It seems that he is willing to take punishment standing up in order to go to the ground. I have never seen a guy sink in a triangle from the mount position, either. Crazy.

Tokoro is the man. This is an old fight. Since then his boxing has come a long way. I wish he could somehow come over and fight in WEC for even a couple of fights take that belt to Japan……..oh and who hasn’t seen a triangle from mount?
