What a great fight; it had a little bit of everything. I’m pretty sure these guys were fighting at 170 and if so, I have no idea why. Someone needs to teach them about cutting weight because they both look like they could fight at 155 and Darren even looks like he could fight at 145. Seriously, I’ve seen 145′ers that are bigger than both of these guys. But regardless, great fight; thanks for including it!

this fight was insane, absolutly loved every min of it, and i definetly agree that these guys are just a little small for 170 but it sure as hell looks they would still bring it to anybody, especially tokoro his thai and ground game was sick

Both of them are 145lbs fighters. Hideo Regularely competes at 145 and has fought at 155, he is a small 155 though.

Wow look before you type. They’re about 5 foot 5 inches and fight at 145lbs weight class. Not every country goes by the same measurements as the US. Awesome fight by the way, transition after transition, GnP, Submission attempts, clinch, standup, just a bit of everything.

Darren usually fights at 135, so he went up to fight at 145 for this one. You can see the difference in size between Hideo and Darren. Not to mention experience; 30+ fights for Tokoro compared to 5 for Darren, so he definitely proved he belongs on the big show.

Wow, awesome fight. Hideo’s tough as nails, but Darren still took it to him. Both of them are true warriors.
