First barnett is a top heavyweight contender and yoshida gave him a great match, yoshida beat tank abbott, had wars with W silva and didnt get ko’ed, Yoshida is a decent fighter

I’m sorry, but that gi helped him with the neck crank. It prevented smith from slipping out because of the friction of the material. If it was bare arms, sweat from the arms and smith’s head would act like a lubricant. I don’t understand, shouldn’t there be a universal dress code for fighting? Can a fighter just go in there in a pair of jeans and fight? What do you expect from a organization were mma fighters fight in a ring. Yoshida was half outside the ring when he executed the neck crank. Rings are for stand up fighting like boxing… mma should not be in a ring where fighters fall out or get tangled in the ropes.
