Hector Lombard is overrated. What was that judge smoking giving a round to Hector? Log in to Reply Satan March 3, 2013 Lombard was robbed again. Even the commentators were biased. Log in to Reply TheKungFuLowKick March 3, 2013 I said to myself I would never watch an Okami fight again.Jab step out, right straight step out, kick step out, takedown. But at least the 3rd was interesting when Hector “No footwork” Lombard moved forward instead of standing there like a tree. Log in to Reply TheKungFuLowKick March 3, 2013 @Satan Round 1&2 Okami easily. You can’t win a round by standing there, get jabbed and hit the air before getting taken down for almost half of the round.Okami is boring but Lombard is an idiot for thinking people will actually go in his T-rex arm range and get Koed.HE needs to chase people he can’t wait there or he will lose all his fights in the UFC.People will just throw 1 or 2 strikes move and make him swing at the air. Log in to Reply jeff@miesha March 3, 2013 lombard is A BAD SPORT HE DESERVED TO LOSE! Log in to Reply straightAhead March 3, 2013 Okami’s game plan was excellent. But not sure if he deserved that win. 1st and last rounds were Lombard’s in my book. Hector is too one dimensional. Where the hell was his Olympic level Judo throws and trips?! Where the hell is his grappling?! I think he has fallen into the same mindset as Rampage and is in love with the KO. They forgot that this is MMA and refuse to do anything else except punch when things are not going their way. Log in to Reply Mag March 3, 2013 lombard needs to stop giving away rounds an step the intensity up from the start. Certainly has the skills for the top, but needs to be more agressive .. that or hit 170 Log in to Reply PitfighterZ March 3, 2013 Lombard is just too short. Fighting top competition, any little disadvantage becomes huge and you could see how he just couldn’t get past through Okami’s jab. Log in to Reply Krio March 3, 2013 Hector won round 1 and 3 how did Okami win? takedowns and doing 0 damage is not scoring points for me Log in to Reply ericsson March 3, 2013 the cuban ain’t shit, Okami s’just to ****ing strong Log in to Reply Powertele March 3, 2013 Agree. Lombard at 170. Too short to fight big 185ers. Log in to Reply samoan brasileiro March 3, 2013 how do some of yall figure that Lombard won the first round hahahaha… He got tooken down with ease and didnt do shiz… 3rd round all him though… Im glad he lost though he is an idiot WHEN he knew he needed to KO him to be sure of the win… and Okami realized that the second he came at him within the first minute thats why he stuck with TAKEDOWN to secure the victory hahahah SMART SHIiii Yushin Log in to Reply samoan brasileiro March 3, 2013 this fight is better watched not by action fans looking for INSANE Shiiiii but action but fight fans that enjoy the art period Log in to Reply Wow March 3, 2013 This fight just shows that Hector will get destroyed by Silva. People from Bellator just ain’t as good! Log in to Reply ThatDude March 3, 2013 UFC Card was Stacked this time, Seems like all the fights were pretty good Log in to Reply MMAgiantsilva March 3, 2013 About as clear a 29-28 fight I have ever seen whoever scored it for Lombart should lose their job. just saying. Log in to Reply Sammy March 4, 2013 don’t mean to be offend anyone, but a high level wrestler will out grapple a high level (olympic level) judo guy any day of the week. Log in to Reply Nambo March 4, 2013 I’m pretty sure that everyone ,as well as myself, was surprised with how easily Okami took Lombard down. With a single leg to boot. Log in to Reply Arthur Fonzersmelly March 4, 2013 How much single leg take down defense do they practice while training for the olympics? Evidently not much. Love Lombard in some matchups, but Okami clearly had his number. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
