He’s just unaware of its popularity. I guess he lives in a bubble. Log in to Reply bagboy November 21, 2013 I’m guessing since he referred to it as MMI that he has hardly any knowledge at all of MMA and should be the last one they interview on the subject. Log in to Reply badgerpit November 21, 2013 Did he say MMI?! I stopped the video there because how informed of an answer can a person possibly give if they don’t even know to say MMA? Log in to Reply shocktime November 21, 2013 These comparisons are dumb. Anyone with half a brain knows MMA is the future. There will always be boxing, judo, BJJ, wrestling, but combing them all is just the best of all worlds. Log in to Reply HOTROD November 21, 2013 Larry is calling it “MMI” lol Log in to Reply Breal November 21, 2013 MMI! What a dummy… Log in to Reply Wick November 21, 2013 MMI? I have hated this guy since the first time I heard him open up his pampas, arrogant mouth. Glad to see nothing has changed. Log in to Reply vin November 21, 2013 you dont know shit about mma… Mayweather voice Log in to Reply reddhelium November 21, 2013 the interviewer has a british accent, and when he asked larry about mma, it sounded like mmi to him. Log in to Reply Genghis Khan November 21, 2013 the man is an expert in Boxing… not MMI so why would you ask him about MMA, dumb interviewer in my opinion Log in to Reply T'Challa November 22, 2013 The Brit accent through him off MM-Aye. Log in to Reply sooooopernate November 22, 2013 *pompous Log in to Reply greengiant November 22, 2013 Funny the British accent sounded like MMI. Log in to Reply wcoastassassin November 22, 2013 I have loved listening to Larry call fights through out the years, especially the Ward-Gatti trilogy. He is a boxing analyst who obviously has new clue about MMA or MMI. Log in to Reply Kingofsting November 22, 2013 Who cares what 80 year old Larry has to say about mma…might as well talk to him about outer space and his beliefs on the afterlife…..that’s how irrelevant he is.. Log in to Reply Ozinator November 22, 2013 Larry is right. I bet in any city in the world you can’t find one person who can name even ONE MMI fighter Log in to Reply tuffmonikergoeshere November 22, 2013 The interviewer has an Australian accent Log in to Reply MMI FAN November 22, 2013 Thank you for your opinion father time…. Log in to Reply Oba Carr November 22, 2013 The interviewer is Australian and he is a goose. I am a unbiased fan of Boxing and of MMA but these comparisons from Boxing guys have to stop, they are so dumb and they end up sounding jealous. Its these sort of rubbish comparisons that turns me away from Boxing. Why don’t they compare it like this, What were MMA fighters earning 10 years ago to what their earning now. With the growth of the sport at the rate its going what will they earn in another 10 years? Log in to Reply mikebenoit November 23, 2013 larry is a legend in boxing. Give him a break on not knowing MMA Log in to Reply the pope November 24, 2013 im a huge boxing fan ….but i hate him in the boxing world and so do many others and i shouldve known before i pressed play on this video that id hate him in the mma world. Log in to Reply KungFuLowKick November 24, 2013 These boxing dinosaurs make me laugh. Don’t get me wrong I love boxing but these old commentators who are the kind of guy to say Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano would still domanite in boxing are a dying breed. He looked so pathetic when he was saying MMI instead of MMA when he clearly knew it was MMA. Like a little child mocking another kid’s name. His head is so far up his ass he doesn’t even know the example he gave is totally wrong. Except Pacquiao, Mayweather and the Clinchkos, name me one guy who gets recongnized internationally?? None. But you go almost anywhere in the world and people know at least a couple of champions, not just 3 fighters… Like a said old dinosaurs on their way out. Even pro boxers respect MMA now. And the ones who don’t are just scared to lose their place so they talk shit about it. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
