first round even, split the second and third rounds. i think that there should be more draws in MMA. really not a clear winner in this one

hioki took 1-2…. no way roop would win… only in japan, but not the 10-9 system

idiotic decision. Hioki did aboslutely nothing other then humping Roop for a couple of minutes in the 2nd. Roop did 7 times more damage from the bottom then Hioki from the top. In my book it’s 30-27 Roop. If you’d push very hard and give Japaneese a 2nd for lying on Roop it would still be 29-28 for Roop. Another crappy decision

I’m so glad everyone here is educated enough to not scream robbery. Yeah it was a close fight, and yes Roop could’ve and should’ve won, but it was by no means a “robbery.” Hopefully it was jitters that got to Hioki, but damn Roop looked good.

Roop landed more significant strikes and was more active but hioki had control of the fight for a longer amount of time. Could have gone either way
