Did the devastating elbow strikes of David Loiseau cost him his term as a UFC fighter or was it his last two fights for them.

If you have ever seen Loiseau’s fight with Even Tanner you know how devastating his elbow strikes can be on an opponent. His elbows come fast and from any position. He has probably the best elbow strikes from his back of any fighter out there.
Loiseau might not have the greatest MMA record but when he does win he usually leaves his opponents in a beaten and bloody state. This just might be one of the reasons he gets passed up for fights. If you were given the chance to fight Loiseau or an opponent with the same record for the same money who would you choose? Especially if you feel that if you lose to the other opponent you probably will come out looking O.K.
The thought of having your head and face split open by a Loiseau elbow strike doesn’t seem too appealing. Most fighters given the choice would pick the safer fight. With Loiseau moving on to EliteXC it may give him a chance to open up a few more heads but the fear of those elbows will cost him fights and money for the rest of his career.
