Ok, first off I love GSP and BJ. But, I honestly think that Bj will not be able to keep up with GSP’s cardio,(especially considering he had to gain 10 pounds of fat to make weight). Also does anybody on here honestly see GSP getting caught in something on the ground? Yeah BJ’S ground game is the best in the UFC(minus Damien Mia) but I am quite sure that the strength and experience of GSP will weather the storm even if it does hit the ground. Gsp 3rd round tko.

i mean if gsp was fighting anyone else other than bj, gsp would be my choice.

the only way i see gsp winning this is if bj’s cardio doesn’t hold up. bj isn’t the same fighter as before, he actually trains now.

St. Pierre is the better wrestler, he is in better shape, and his jiu-jitsu is easily good enough to keep him out of submissions. GSP will win.

Hell yeah Hector!!! The only way Bj wins this fight is by flying knee or submission THATS IT. Gsp is to Fast to strong and in my opinion a much better striker. BJs only strength in this match is Flexibility and Jitsu… Other then that he is out classed in every situation by GSP who will win, and win with style.

There is so much truth in the things Dana says it always surprises me, BJ is most definately surrounded by a buncha yes men, those arent trainers, Im not saying anything about his family either, Im sure they love their brother as much as he loves them but the rest a them guys are uhhhh clowns, ya that little cha cha mambo dance pace they got him runnin down the beach aint doin JACK for BJ’s conditioning. It’s damn lucky for Penn his strenghts were never and still wont be his conditioning. If BJ wasnt the God gifted prodigy he is GSP would WALK thru ANY fighter that trained like that. It is so hard to call it between these two, GSP best P4P EVER.

This is a guy who has supreme confidence in himself and has already beaten the prodigy.

I think the same story holds true for this fight: BJ is very dangerous in the first two rounds. If GSP can stay out of danger for those rounds, his superior conditioning should win him the fight.

BJ can say as much as he wants about the will to win, but will only wins out if all other things are equal. If you’re exhausted and the other guy is fresh, will means nothing. See Mark Coleman against Shogun.

I don’t get why people think BJ is going to win this fight. When he returned to the UFC he lost to GSP then he gased and got punched in the face repeatedly by Matt Hughes until the ref stopped the fight. So he dropped down in weight to fight smaller weaker fighter. All of the fighters that BJ faced have or would get destroyed by GSP. Now, BJ thinks that because he has beat a couple of fighters that would not stand a chance against the top of the welterweight division, let alone GSP, that he is going to be able to do what he could not do before.
I think GSP is the one that has developed far more than Penn. I predict domination by GSP.

plain and simple gsp is the man. he already beat penn once and has improved so much since joining with greg jackson. bj penn is still training the same as the first fight. so what bj beat sherk, so did gsp. gsp out classes him in every aspect. unless there is a freak event like serra vs gsp 1 there is no way in hell bj is winning, period.

I think that BJ is explosive but at the same time GSP is too just not the same level of explosiveness. I think if it ends in the first three rounds it’s going to be BJ winning but if it gets to the later rounds and finishes I think GSP…if it goes to decision! I think that BJ will win the first two rounds and GSP the last two so whoever ends up winning round three wins the decision!!!!!!!!!!
