GSP Talks About The Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen Rematch

Anderson is too smart to go into another fight with Chael and not vastly improve his takedown defence and wrestling. This will be a much different fight than the last one. I am not taking anything away from Chael, of course he can still win, but the fight will be different.

I think Chael is going to find himself on the end of a nasty kick for TKO/KO by 3rd round…and still have a problem living Brazil. They take their carrot eating horse-buses seriously over there.

Before you knock Chael’s outing vs. Bisping, remember that styles make fights. Bisping is a good striker that is especially hard to keep down. Chael looked bad, but there is a reason. At least give a little credit to Bisping…he doesn’t suck.

Sonnen is doomed however you look at it. Either he gets knocked out/submitted by anderson (i think this will happend) or he wins and gets murdered by a rioting croud of crazy brazilians

Yea I think this 17x testosterone level was just made up. I remember reading and watching the commission hearing and it wasn’t that he was above the limit, it was about how disclosed the information.

No it wasn’t steroids either for all those shouting that he was juiced. He just failed to correctly disclose that he was using Testosterone replacement therapy.

But I agree, Silva with a better rib, and improved take down defense, will prove to be a different fight.

Silva’s only chance is to catch Sonnen in a submission again. I’d be putting money on Sonnen to win an ugly 5 rounder.

First of all I don’t understand all this “Silva learning take down defense” business. During his meteoric rise he stuffed plenty of take downs from guys that weren’t exactly new to wrestling. Getting taken down by a wrestler of Sonnens caliber who just so happens to have the testosterone levels of a horny 18 year old when you are fighting with a busted rib doesn’t say much. To the people who say don’t judge Sonnens chance based on his performance in the Bisping fight, I say the only reason you shouldn’t is if you have inside infor that they intentionally had him fight like s*** and bought a decision just to make everyone think he has no chance in this fight in order to sway the odds and make the bookies a buck or two. Otherwise, Sonnen is dead meat.

Chael looked like crap with Michal bisbing and I thought bitchbing actually won that fight. so if he comes to fight anderson silva the same way as he fought bitchbing he will have no chance of winning, unless he completely changes other wise I see Anderson wining easily.

For all you geniuses out there who keep saying that Sonnen “did not use steroids, he used testosterone”…. testoSTEROne IS a STEROid produced in the body, and elevated levels are an unfair advantage. He tested positive because his levels were elevated (from Testosterone Replacement Therapy, which is legal but his treatment was inadequately monitored) and he did not “properly” disclose the information (which is illegal). For those of you who really believe this guy’s claim that he properly notified the commission, probably also believe when he says in several recent interviews that he is “the undisputed champion and has never lost”… I’ve never seen a non-champion fighter garner so much attention, this is not WWF.

FYI: People who think Sonnen looked bad Vs Bisping are not giving props to the right guy. I think Bisping is definately top 5 in the world, in the MW division. Those who say Bisping “sucks” or hes overrated, I think you are an idiot. I hate Bisping, but hes a good fighter. 1. You dont make the UFC if you are s***. 2. You dont have a 22-4 record if you suck. 3. He has 4 losses & 3 of them were to former CHAMPS (Evans, Henderson & Wanderlei) & the 4th was Sonnen who beat up Silva for 23.5 mins, he didn’t just beat Silva, he embaressed him, sure Sonnen lost, but he landed more punches in 1 Round than most of Silvas oponents combined. I think losing to Sonnen is more of a compliment, than losing to Wanderlei (OLD Wanderlei).
