It’s actually now the “ultimate lose as much weight and gain it back right before the fight to have an unfair advantage over your opponent championship”. MMA is the same as boxing in the ways that makes boxing suck. Not caring about weight and reach is what makes guys like Hendo and Fedor real fighters and not b1tches like Silva, Jones and maybe even GSP, we will see. Calling guys pound for pound GOAT who worry about sh1t like that is ridiculous. At least let GSP move up to 185 to see if he could crush a few cans the way Silva did at 205 before the super fight though.

There is no reason for this fight to happen. GSP has to beat the #1 contender before he tries to move up. Until he beats Diaz, there won’t be an answer to who the best 170lb fighter is. I don’t mean win a decision by pat and run like Condit did, I mean beat Nick in a fight. It isn’t ultimate point sparring or ultimate lay and hump, its Ultimate Fighting.

give the guy a chance to get back in the cage and get his wits before asking him about Anderson! He just had a tough 5 round fight with one of the top welterweights in the world after a 16 month lay off! of course he doesnt sound sure right now. the real gsp will be back

the reason why gsp doesnt wanna fight anderson is the same good reason why silva doesnt want to fight jones and all of them 3 know that,thats why they act like they do.only dan henderson doesnt care about things like weight,reach and strenght.i dont give a sh*t about superfights..

GSP is totally afraid. He doesnt ever mention a catch weight. Always talking about 170. Lol He walks around near 200 himself. Face the facts style wise Silva is a bad matchup for GSP. Footwork reach and height scares GSP…

its not even that he doesn’t finish,look at his record.he hasn’t finished lately against top fighters.but he makes the best guys in the world look like amateurs.people cry about him holding guys down instead of realizing that these guys aren’t complete enough to stuff/avoid or take advantage of gsp takedowns.they also quickly forget the amount of fighters hes picked apart standing.the guys hes beaten have a lot of respect for him.he breaks fighters badly.he beats fighters where they are weak regardless of where that is.his brilliance=a long and fruitfull career.

there is nothing to gain from this superfight.it will not determine anything.why have champs fight.let them have their respective win streaks stopped by a contender,not in a fight that counts for nothing.legit contenders are waiting,or why not have them fight twice once at 170 and once at 185 if they tie then rubber match at 177,that would determine a true p4p great. great potential but still pointless.i get that its a business and it makes sense.as a sport it doesn’t.diaz needs to earn his shot,if he can’t handle the judges decision then learn to cut the cage off better and learn to adjust to your opponents gameplans.he’s undeserving.
