GSP Not Sounding Like He Wants To Fight Anderson Silva

GSP just said it depends on the weight class. Silva’s camp probably wants him to move up to 185.

And If Dana throws enough money on the table, I’m sure it’ll happen one way or another.

I like GSP warm up when he got inside the cage. He did all kinds of powerful explosive plyo jumps, squats, and crazy cartwheels. It was like he was tryna Show Condit dude go for the knee if you want, but ur wasting ur time cuz its 100%.

Silva is scared of Jones, at the same time Jones has no interest in fighting Silva.

dang that interviewer was kinda annoying. I really would like to see jones vs silva instead of gsp vs silva. What most ppl dont understand is that the size difference (by this I mean weight difference bc its weight classes not height or reach classes) is alot more difference between jones and silva than gsp and silva. The heaviest gsp has been for a fight is 192lbs (his camp said this is how much he weighted on fight day a couple hours before the fight). anderson silva walks around at about 220 but that is bc he puts on fat so that weight means absolutely nothing. his last fight at 185 his trainers said he came into the cage weighing 198. thats only 6 pound difference from gsp weight. Also we have seen anderson come in underweight at 185 several times at like 182. when silva fought bonnar he came in at 202 and likely did not cut much or any water weight. Jones comes into the cage weighing about 225.

It’s simply a matter of GSP changing his entire career and moving up a weight class which he’s not sure he wants to do and I dont blame him. Silva’s natural walking around weight is 215. Why would a person move up a weight class when they are clearly smaller than everyone else who cuts 20-30 lbs? He’s thinking long term, not just about Anderson. If anderson is calling out GSP, why the F doesn’t HE move DOWN!?!?! it’s ridiculous to call someone out for a fight and then ask them to move up. He should MOVE DOWN, and if he can’t make the cut then Silva needs to STFU.

I am not interested in seeing Silva kill GSP. Nick Diaz needs his shot at GSP. I’m also not interested in seeing Jones kill Silva. Silva needs to take on the next MW contender. Silva will loose his belt to Chris W. when the time comes. Mark my words.

GSP would get owned by Silva. Can’t blame him for not wanting the fight. There wouldn’t be that big a difference in their size. Silva is one inch taller than Condit and no one complained about Condit having an unfair advantage. GSP should stay at 170 and fight all the contenders like Hendricks and Macdonald.

First of all, Anderson never called out GSP. Fans for many years have, and so has Dana White. Anderson simply said he’d be interested. GSP is so smart, he’s playing hardball to get more money. Everyone knows a catch weight of 177lbs. would be fair, but at 170lbs, GSP would be favored, at a catch-weight, Anderson would be the favorite, and look like a wasp with skinny limbs and a giant head. Either the way, the fight will look like Matt Hughes against Pele-landis. GSP will hold him down and dominate before eventually eating a knee and being finished. All the feints in the world wont save him from the fatal spider bite.

DIAZ vs GSP. That’s the fight to make.. I respect Hendricks, but we all know title shots have nothing to do with who actually earns it (see Sonnen, Chael). This fight has genuine bad blood, and is the fight we all wanted to see before Diaz went MIA.

Why not average the two weight classes: 178.5 They both come up and down evenly. It’s actually fair.

its not even that he doesn’t finish,look at his record.he hasn’t finished lately against top fighters.but he makes the best guys in the world look like amateurs.people cry about him holding guys down instead of realizing that these guys aren’t complete enough to stuff/avoid or take advantage of gsp takedowns.they also quickly forget the amount of fighters hes picked apart standing.the guys hes beaten have a lot of respect for him.he breaks fighters badly.he beats fighters where they are weak regardless of where that is.his brilliance=a long and fruitfull career.

the reason why gsp doesnt wanna fight anderson is the same good reason why silva doesnt want to fight jones and all of them 3 know that,thats why they act like they do.only dan henderson doesnt care about things like weight,reach and strenght.i dont give a sh*t about superfights..

give the guy a chance to get back in the cage and get his wits before asking him about Anderson! He just had a tough 5 round fight with one of the top welterweights in the world after a 16 month lay off! of course he doesnt sound sure right now. the real gsp will be back

It’s actually now the “ultimate lose as much weight and gain it back right before the fight to have an unfair advantage over your opponent championship”. MMA is the same as boxing in the ways that makes boxing suck. Not caring about weight and reach is what makes guys like Hendo and Fedor real fighters and not b1tches like Silva, Jones and maybe even GSP, we will see. Calling guys pound for pound GOAT who worry about sh1t like that is ridiculous. At least let GSP move up to 185 to see if he could crush a few cans the way Silva did at 205 before the super fight though.
