@ Dream Machine, are you an mma fighter ? Ok, everyone has a way to pass on info & teaching is the highest level of learning, im sure Mr Jackson was passing on his knowledge with good intent. After 30 plus yrs of martial arts & 20 coaching, like jackson, there’s still room to learn & thats exciting !

I am not going to care about mmmm’s comment. Elbows are the best and can easily KO anyone even standing up. It’s just that not many people like to get that close to try it.
And elbows do not favor wrestlers, mostly because wrestler don’t usually learn how to use elbows correctly. Of course, if you are a wrestler and knows how to strike like Bones, elbows will favor you. Actually, everything will favor you because you will be better than most uni-dimensional fighters.
In my opinion, you should never prohibit any kind of attack. If you don’t like it, learn to defend and counter.

Not to mention elbows are a great way to open up someone’s hands for a punch when you’re ground and pounding. a punch can be blocked just by moving and deflecting…you can’t deflect elbows very easily, and even if you have an arm in front of it, still hurts.

You s*** out a stupid comment like always.Have you ever been hit by an elbow??Also Jones KOed Vlad Matyushenko and Vera with elbows.Or ask almost any of Tito’s early opponents if elbows dont knock out.If you had any clue about MMA you would know an elbow has alot more power then a punch on the ground because the elbow travels alot more distance then a punch.And there’s few elbow KOs in the UFC because guys move their heads on the ground they dont just wait for elbows to hit them.
