Log in to Reply marvelous mad madam mim February 12, 2012 elbows are only for cutting. I cannot remember the last time some gnp elbows knocked someone unconscious. not even the great jon bones jones KO’s his opponents with gnp elbows. elbows only favor shitty wrestlers with horrible hands who cannot learn to posture up. imo gnp elbows are bad for the sport and only favor wrestlers. without elbows fighters have to posture up to punch which opens them up to more submissions and sweeps which is by far more exciting and more technical. tito, hughes and others would be nothing without gnp elbows. Log in to Reply dana whites mom February 12, 2012 they should go over the grabbing the shorts enough to irritate your opponent but not enough to get points taken away, how to grease your self and not get caught, stick and run around the huge octagon, and LEAN ON HIM if you are facing a Asian fighter techniques. Log in to Reply mmaboxingfan2 February 12, 2012 Meh I would rather not see a safety first seminar with shinya the sub aoki and greg the safety jackson of course he will show ground techniques. After this seminar you will learn the hit and run technique ….. Think it’s only like 45 bucks to attend. I will most likely take pics and possibly video…depends on if Ryan Jensen decides to be a dick or not. 😉 ♠ Log in to Reply Dream Machine... February 13, 2012 Greg Should NOT be teaching Jiu-Jitsu. That was terrible. Log in to Reply rza808 February 13, 2012 Clean techniques being taught. You guys are confusing the techniques with his fight strategies. His strategies are ***** not the techniques lol Log in to Reply f_u February 13, 2012 If Aoki can master the Kalib-Jackson backwards marathon and incorporate it with his sick ground game he could win a lot of decisions. Log in to Reply wow February 13, 2012 Hey look, two douchebags. Log in to Reply KungFuLowKick February 13, 2012 @mim You shit out a stupid comment like always.Have you ever been hit by an elbow??Also Jones KOed Vlad Matyushenko and Vera with elbows.Or ask almost any of Tito’s early opponents if elbows dont knock out.If you had any clue about MMA you would know an elbow has alot more power then a punch on the ground because the elbow travels alot more distance then a punch. And there’s few elbow KOs in the UFC because guys move their heads on the ground they dont just wait for elbows to hit them. Log in to Reply mmafan400 February 13, 2012 Not to mention elbows are a great way to open up someone’s hands for a punch when you’re ground and pounding. a punch can be blocked just by moving and deflecting…you can’t deflect elbows very easily, and even if you have an arm in front of it, still hurts. Log in to Reply PitfighterZ February 13, 2012 I am not going to care about mmmm’s comment. Elbows are the best and can easily KO anyone even standing up. It’s just that not many people like to get that close to try it. And elbows do not favor wrestlers, mostly because wrestler don’t usually learn how to use elbows correctly. Of course, if you are a wrestler and knows how to strike like Bones, elbows will favor you. Actually, everything will favor you because you will be better than most uni-dimensional fighters. In my opinion, you should never prohibit any kind of attack. If you don’t like it, learn to defend and counter. Log in to Reply PatrickN February 13, 2012 Dunno why you callin Greg Jackson a douchebag I met him he’s a nice guy. His strats are bad for MMA as a sport but that’s the rules fault. Log in to Reply canguy February 13, 2012 I really wonder if the guys there understood what he was saying.
