Thanks Bruno. The Gracie breakdowns usually rock, because no one does a better post-fight grappling recap. Main event was mostly KOs so the discussion wasn’t as brilliant.

Calling them weird is ridiculous. You have never met them in person or trained with them. They are as passionate about their craft as anyone I have ever known. They just like to have fun. Ryron is more of a comedian and Rener is usually serious. Both are exceptional and will kill your instructor with one hand tied behind their back.
Sad that some never train with people as good as them. Eddie Bravo is weird bro, these guys are legends in the making. I always wondered why they didn’t fight in the UFC (other than them not liking the stupid rules), but now I know that they had a higher calling, which was to take GJJ to the world. Helio did his thing in Brazil, Rorion/Rickson/Royce took it to America, now they take it to the world.

There breakdowns are usually perfect and entertaining, but I think the lack of Jiu Jitsu made this breakdown a bit awkward.

I love it that everyone who doesnt know anything about BJJ will hate them or say they suck.Personally i watched 90% of the things there and i even teached their mounted crucifix(put your leg nearet to the ribs in the armpit instead of having the arm loose between your legs) to my coach and teamates and we all use it now.They are really talented guys and i love that they always show no gi technics and sometimes varutations of what they couldve/shoudve done.Keep hating if you want you will just loose pretty clever technics from your game…..

“These guys” as you call them. Try Rorion’s first and second sons. They are unreal, which is why everyone wants to learn from them. Go watch an instructional video please. This is messing around. There is a difference. When they teach, they occasionally make a joke or two, but they are all business when it comes to training.
Have your instructor go over there and get his a** kicked if you don’t believe me. And don’t hate on their stand up either, I know for a fact that Ralek and Ryron have trained stand up. Ralek is not in this video, but he is a great fighter.
