Are they really lightweights????? They look like 185 pounders Log in to Reply goro February 8, 2009 hi, when i meet Gleison first time in Spain hi was…80kg and now he 70 kg ….so you can see how …. Log in to Reply Mute February 8, 2009 Agreed, Tibau is one of the largest looking 155 pounders out there. He was a welterweight but I think dropping down to lightweight is a better move so he can use the size difference to his advantage. Log in to Reply MMABuff February 8, 2009 Yes, they are both lightweights. Clementi used to fight at welterweight, but he’s much better at 55. Tibau was impressive. That dude cold give a lot of people problems at lightweight. He’s been in the UFC for a while now, but I don’t think he’s been on the main card yet. Log in to Reply Mag February 8, 2009 MMABuff – Tibau was on the UFC 86 main card and was schooling Joe Daddy until hitting a lazy double leg on which Joe finished him with a Guillotine. He looks to be a great prospect – and HUGE at 155! Log in to Reply Jason February 8, 2009 Sick fight. Wow. Log in to Reply Dudeson February 9, 2009 what, Tibau always fought on the maincard ppv before. He fought T. Griffin and J. Stevenson, but lost both fights. He is really not that good, infact he sucks. He lost to much smaller fighters and the only advantage he has is the size. Log in to Reply UnclePauly February 9, 2009 Clementi acted like a dik when Tibau extended his hand in sportsmanship so he got what he deserved. A KO would have been better though. Log in to Reply tibu_balboa February 9, 2009 Damn that tibau is a sick fighter. good one! Log in to Reply kimboslam76 February 9, 2009 nice fight. finally in st pete/tampa area, tibau looks bigger and more cut he brung it son! Log in to Reply the man February 9, 2009 these guys should be in the WEC. They’re not good enough for UFC Log in to Reply paddedummy February 10, 2009 @ 05:15 Joe Rogan says “Brazil is the motherland of jujutsu!?” What kinds of drugs is this guy on? I feel bad for young people just getting into martial arts being misinformed by this revisionist history coming from someone who they would assume is supposed to know wtf he is talking about. Log in to Reply edu February 10, 2009 paddedummy where is the motherland of bjj then? and u should feel bad for yourself u r an idiot Log in to Reply nastynate1986 February 11, 2009 edu no, you should feel bad bad for YOURself.jujitsu came from japan. Log in to Reply MMAzn February 12, 2009 Edu is correct actually you idiots. When Joe Rogan says, “Brazil is the mother-land of jiu-jitsu,” he is reffering to brazilian jiu jitsu not traditional japanese ju-jitsu. He just calls it jiu-jitsu for short instead of brazilian jiu-jitsu. In fact Joe is a brown belt under Eddie Bravo so I’m pretty sure he knows what he is talking about. So there we go…Brazil is the mother-land of BRAZILIAN jiu-jitsu. PWNED Log in to Reply kaobeto February 14, 2009 Neck was too exposed on the single leg takedown.
