K-1 World Grand Prix 2008 video of Brazilian Glaube Feitosa vs USA’s Shoot boxing fighter Alex Roberts.

This was the first K-1 fight for the 6ft 6in tall Roberts. Glaube Feitosa on the other hand was making his 30th appearance.

Awesome kick. Reminds me of how we use to kick in Tae Kwon Do. I don’t have his power of course. I wonder if Glaube trained in TKD?

i love how he was throwin that kick.. raising the knee.. then snapping it.. i knew it was gunna finish him its hard to defend.. specially when you get rocked by those uppercuts.. he had no defence for the upper cuts.. and it set up the beautiful kick right on the button

The type of kick that everyone seems interested in is a typical Kyokushin Karate mawashigeri. Many K1 fighters come from kyokushin backgrounds but most are not good enough to use it.
