This was a fast paced but short fight that looked bad for Carano at the start. Evinger got in a quick punch and then the take down. Evinger seamed to have control and was going for the choke but Carano slipped her head out and reversed position. Carano quickly got Evingers back and worked in the choke to finish the fight just before the bell.
