She was really upset on the Cyborg loss and was searching for what she could have done differently. The only thing she could have done better is to take a few cycles of steroids.
If you watch the fight… she did pretty damn awesome until she slipped and then got caught. She actually took Cyborg down, got in some nice shots, but in the end she did not take juice and was fighting with a handicap.

Totally agree. I am 100% convinced Cyborg — as good as she is — is on the juice. Gina needed an extra year at Couture’s or Jackson’s and about 5 cycles of juice to clock Cristiane.

A bully? WFT. She fought everyone they asked her. She’s a big women. Walks around 160. Not her fault she was forced to fight (naturally) smaller opponents.
Alas, I think we’ve seen the last of her. Carano was an athletic talent that started the sport too late to have had a lasting competitive impact. Nonetheless, her charisma as well as her muay thai based action fighting style helped open the door towards mainstream acceptance of womens’ mma.

I get the vibe that Ariel could definitely hit that if he tried. On another note, sorry to break this to every one but I’d be willing to bet that Gina will not fight again! She’s older, taken a 2 year vacation, started acting, etc. I just don’t see her coming back after a two year lay off while other girls have been training and getting better. She also hinted that she may have some other projects lined up after the movie comes out. Sorry guys…
