THompson was backing up the whole fight….he jsut got lucky on the 4th and 5th rounds with the trips…MElendez was trying to make it a fight. You gotta take the title from the champ, Thompson didnt show he wanted it. Next time he needs to try fighting.

Anyway, bottom line is that Thompson fought like a p****, and thanks to that trip he ended up on top and ALMOST finished the fight…1 time…well in this game ALMOST doesnt count, just ask Sonnen…and what did he do the rest of the fight? s***, thats what he did…. so yeah next time if THompson steps it up and walks forward, he may have an actual chance of winning the fight. Until then, zzzzzzz we will see another snooze fest and he will lose to a champ.
