wow! mayhem seemed like a tool that couldn’t stop smiling but he is one tuff dude! GSP would’ve finished 3 or 4 average fighters with that single performance but miller survived. GSP rules!

Rogan was crackin me up in this one. “Mayhem is light years ahead of GSP on the ground”, and for a split second Mayhem wound up on top “theres only 1:15 left, hes gotta finish quickly!” I also liked how Miller tried to Bruce Lee hop to his feet and GSP just kicked him right in the face. Ahhhh, good stuff.

this was probably the only gsp fight i hadnt seen and it was a really good one. was surprised he survived that whole thing. this is the type of fight i wish there was more of, really exciting.

God, Miller looks insane. Right at the 1 minutes marker of the first round, when Miller is defending the takedown up agains the cage and you get a good shot of his face. His teeth showing from his green, all covered in blood. Looks like he just ate bloody, raw meat.

No.

Submission defense is the ability to PREVENT being put into a submission to begin with. To not end up in a tap scenario from the start. What Mayhem has is sick pain threshold. He was in a off the track ring MMA fight and was caught in a shoulder lock. The guy who got him actually said he heard his shoulder pop at least three times while Miller tried successfully to roll out of. Miller wound up winning the fight. But his submission defense is average at best. Guy just dont quit.

Mayhem was light years ahead of GSP on the ground. His Jiu Jitsu was and probably still is better than GSP’ tbh. Not hating on GSP at all, I’m a fan.
