Mark my words, Silva will fight gsp and end his career with the Jones fight.there will be no Weidman fight.no more middle weight title defenses by him,he will not sign a new contract.he isn’t afraid of Jones destroying his legacy(as I previously thought)and he’s not afraid of Weidman. He’s taking care of old business and then after Jones elbows Sonnens face through the mat he’ll fight him.two huge paycheques to end it.hope gsp does better than we all think he will,that fight makes no sense to me.also, Jones is a fantastic fighter with a great future(not in heavyweight)who knows how to impose his will and massive size on guys but is not nearly as technically sound as Silva.Silva hands Jones his first legit u.f.c. loss,this will make for a better Jones.

i’m a big fan of GSP but even at a catch weight it would be hard for him to match up to the likes of Silva in skills and size. i much rather see Silva VS Jones.

if Anderson drops it to 170 or if the bout takes place at catch weight of 178 or so i will favor GSP, i think GSP will win via decision

GSP is a talented fighter and deserves all the success he has because he has earned it. He knows how to win.

Silva though is in a league of his own. Anyone that actually believes GSP can compete with the more talented and skilled Silva is blinded by their love for GSP. That a fight between the two is being called for has everything to do with money and nothing else. GSP can not beat Silva.

I mean I would still watch GSP vs Silva if the fight happens, but yes this fight favours Silva more than GSP. Silva had already fought at 205 more than onces so it makes more sense to have Silva vs Jones. Plus Silva is much taller and bigger then GSP, and one of the best striker in the game. With his skill, he should risk it and take it to Jones.

The reason Silva wants to fight GSP, is of course the money first and then he knows he would win, but he will not fight Jones because he knows he there is avery good chance he will get an ass-beating by Jones.

I don’t think GSP should take that fight at anything more than 175 lbs. Everything seems to be in Silva’s favor for a fight like this. The only thing that would truly keep this fight an even match up is if they fight closer to GSP’s optimal fighting weight.

With Silva’s long reach I just dont see GSP being able to win. However if Silva has a tough weight cut than it could even the playing field.

To me it would make much more sense for Silva to fight Jones at 205. Silva has fought at that wieght a few times yet he knows he will have much more advantage fighting GSP so he wants that fight. Silva knows theirs no way he’s be able to handle Jon Jones on the ground.

very awesome breakdown,the small thing the average people dont see, and they complaining about lay and pray,awesome stuff
