I think Condit has a legitimate chance of destroying GSP. Log in to Reply Goomba July 25, 2012 A beast of biblical proportion! Log in to Reply siafu July 25, 2012 gotta agree he’s looks slow Log in to Reply Jayjay44 July 25, 2012 @ OhBoy- Clearly GSP was focusing on power, not speed. He’s always lacked power + I agree Condit has a good chance of beating him. Pre ACL rupture, all my money would’ve been on GSP; now only 95% of my money is on him Log in to Reply sidekickz July 25, 2012 Yea this didnt look like a speed exercise, and for a good fight condits gotta be able to stuff the takedown cause even if gsp intends to stand for a ko to please the fans im sure he will shoot a few times just to keep it in condits head. Log in to Reply urbanangel22 July 25, 2012 Oh….. boy what a retard Log in to Reply mma made easy July 25, 2012 he has time to develop. stiff, tentative movements for now… Log in to Reply Danby July 25, 2012 Rust st. pierre. He needs a tomato can to fight first. Condit will probably beat him. But you never know. GSP is a monster. I hope his knee holds up. Log in to Reply pinkelephantsmarching July 25, 2012 Oh Boy…at least your name is on name is on point- BOY. Log in to Reply pinkelephantsmarching July 25, 2012 Oh Boy…at least your name is on name is on point- BOY………….. Log in to Reply marvelous mad madam mim July 25, 2012 y even practice power strikes when u will never use them in competition?? makes zero sense Log in to Reply Drew July 25, 2012 I love people determining Condit the winner because of 48 seconds of footage of GSP throwing some power kicks. Really? And the reason you practice power strikes is because they ARE used. Your entire arsenal can’t be based on power shots, but they are used. Log in to Reply jdogg July 25, 2012 It amazes me how many professional trainers in here calling GSP slow. So who do you guys train exactly?? keyboard warrior nonsense. Log in to Reply neovvl July 25, 2012 i think he was referring to the time lapsed between when he throws the mit and when he throws the strike. Which in that sense he was slow, but it’s probably just because he was loading up. It’s not like a he goes 100% 24/7 Log in to Reply vultureheart July 25, 2012 Almost every comment on this topic is sent by a crumb – the dude is doing mitt drills now he’s gonna lose???!!! Say what you’re gonna type outloud before your fingers touch the keyboard….. You’ll probably realize how dumb it sounds. Log in to Reply greysaku July 25, 2012 First of all the dude holding pads for him is a complete tool..Some the worst pad work ive ever seen in my life man…If the guy holding mitts or pads for you looks shitty, guess what you’re gonna look shitty also..GSP movements , and speed to look fine its just the guy holding pads for him has no idea what he’s doing.. Log in to Reply steamer July 26, 2012 yep….first thing I thought, lookin slow homey Log in to Reply psxdogg July 26, 2012 even if he was training for power that shit looked slow. Must be a old tape… dont let that shit fool you. GSP is playing games with Condit with these videos By the way… is 2-face Jackson going to be in GSP corner or Condit’s Corner? Just wonderin… Log in to Reply MangyMongoose July 26, 2012 Pad guy was quick as a bug. Let’s say February, that way Condit gets to shine his fake belt for a whole year. Diaz Vs. Hendricks could happen on the same card, and the winners for for the belt in August. Unless GSP gets a hangnail. Log in to Reply addicto July 26, 2012 condit will run, gsp will lay and pray, condit should be training only running, and gsp, only laying on a boy. pause. Log in to Reply wrestlers say no to spinning backfists July 26, 2012 george “half speed” st pierre is in trouble. Fighters will just go after his bum knee for the rest of his career. he had the mentality exploit your opponents weakness like when he spent two rounds leaning on bj penn to tire out his bjs shoulders and I am sure fighters will pay him back the favor. Log in to Reply mmaok July 26, 2012 GSP will take out Condit and then send that punk Diaz into permanent retirement. Log in to Reply Danby July 26, 2012 Knee injuries are the worst. I hurt mine when i was in high school. Every once in a while they go again. Never the same, and doing high entensity stuff like this doesn’t help. Log in to Reply stevenseagalsprodigy July 26, 2012 His bum knee ? Your an idiot .. anyone who would only commit to trying to take out his knee will be koed. Shogun has had multiple knee surgeries and I have never seen anyone go for his knee. Go back to WWE please . Log in to Reply MuayThai Care Bear July 27, 2012 G. Jackson is sitting this one out as respect to both of them. Log in to Reply rampage is a sad joke July 27, 2012 ****MARK MY WORDS****** GSP WILL GET “INJURED” AGAIN BEFORE THE CONDIT FIGHT, he is scared because he knows carlos will defeat him and he want all the spotlight still on him, he will retire the greatest and not risk loosing that title, hes scared Log in to Reply SEAN_VANCE July 27, 2012 @OH Boy….just the way he destroyed DIaz…or I mean…ran away from Diaz? LMAO… Condit has no chance unless he runs like Forest GUmp all over again… Log in to Reply choocher July 27, 2012 regardless of what dumbass people think from watching less then a minute of him training, GSP is a beast! he’ll come back strong and 100% healthy, why u think he has been gone for so long. i think both condit and gsp will put on amazing fight. i dont think condit is ready for GSP’s wrestling though. gotta remember Condit beat a zombie with no takedown or technical striking (Diaz) he is goin to have a hard time with GSP. Log in to Reply mmafan11 July 27, 2012 Carlos via KO. Log in to Reply notaMMAfan July 27, 2012 If Gsp is trying to train for condit inside a cage is the worse place, he needs to get on the 800M run. Log in to Reply negraModelo July 27, 2012 gSp took 2 years off right? what a doosh…I respect him but hat pisses me off..hes held teh belt wihtout a fight for sooo long.. Log in to Reply negraModelo July 27, 2012 slow? slow is the bitches getting off my dick…That she was fast and I didnt know that grunting was different in French…lol Log in to Reply f_u July 27, 2012 lol obv hes gonna be slower hes throwing so hard hes grunting. Log in to Reply KUSHOVER July 27, 2012 Looks like he was just going for big power strikes not speed. And lets not forget about his wrestling before we start saying Condit is gonna kick his ass. Log in to Reply Rugburn July 28, 2012 The only thing I can say in GSP’s defense was maybe he did several rounds prior to that footage to exhaust his muscles in order to force an extra round(s) to build up strength and endurance. However, he should always keep his technique tight. Thus, If he trains that way…he’s going to fight that way when he becomes fatigue and he’s going to be KTFO especially by top fighters like Conduit or worst yet Nick Diaz!!! Log in to Reply BoxinggymDan July 28, 2012 Seriously?? Even just casual mma fans know that drills and exercises done in practice are often seemingly non related to what a fighter does in the cage.. good thing it wasn’t a video of GSP flipping a tire or jumping rope.. retards would’ve had a hell of a time figuring those out.. Log in to Reply zamscammer July 28, 2012 GSP’s kicks are way too telegraphed!! Why do professional fighters who throw kicks always drop their hands?? This leaves you open for the counter straight right and night night. I understand you generate more power that way but it makes no sense to me. Just watch Barbosa throw a kick and you’ll understand what I’m talking about. Glad to see GSP back at it. Log in to Reply straightAhead July 29, 2012 If people were filming me training before a fight i would tone it down a few notches so as to give my opponent a false sense of security. It seems to me that this is perhaps what GSP is doing. Log in to Reply TheKungFuLowKick August 1, 2012 @negraModelo You are saying stupid nonsense, when did GSP take 2 years off??He got injured,so they made an interim title. His last fight was 1 year ago,not 2.Next time use something revolutionary only a few select people in the world know how to use,Google, and don’t say nonsense.
