wtf sokoudjou’s lips were swollen before the fight started
Mousasi was gassed during the second round.
He needs to work on his cardio.
Mousasi is the shit! WTF was up with his corner at the 7 minute mark? They don’t have towels? The cornerman has to use his t-shirt to wipe Mousasi’s face??
someone told me this fight wasnt that good.. haha.. mousasi is very sick.. soko didnt looks as bad as he has in the past either.. great fight
That fight dehyped Gegard for me.
man.. Sokoudjou has no ground game at all. most of his loss is from the ground, or shall i say ground/pound. Gegard looked confident in this fight.
nice work mousasi
Mousasi is the man!!! He won without effort!
great future in front of this guy!!!
Everyone’s entitled to be stupid, but you jl552008 abuse the privilege.
Mousasi’s leg trip from his back surely calls for a gif. That was just ten levels of awesomeness!

I don’t believe Mousasi won without effort, but he did win. The fight was very close, Sokoujo gave up at the end. He knew how defend from the bottom, because he was doing it during the first round.
Great fight, Mousasi needs a little more fine tuning and then I would like to see him take on an A-rank fighter.\
Yosh!
Thanks Bruno for the vid.
Mousasi probed he is calm in dangerous situations. He’s got a great future.
Henderson would destroy him
Another Man Pays The Price For Disturbing Mousasi’s Nap Time
Damn. Soku looked unstoppable in the first round, but as usual he gassed in the second. There is actually a point in the second round where Soku tries go get up, cannot, then gives up. You can see it in his eyes.
wtf-sokoudou?? He looked so promising in this fight and he just – i don’t even know… give up? gassed out? Is incompetent off his back? Really confusing. He has the physical talents to be a powerhouse. He needs some new coaching and training to better harness his mental game. I hate seeing such physical potential squandered on such a weak mind.
sokoudjou is too short to fight anybody. he need to take boxing lesson from mike tyson. need to throw more upper cut like mike tyson. once he get inside , but instead sokoudjou back out and throw a girl leg kick and wear himself out. i don’t understand ever fight he does that? how is that suppose to work against a good fighter?????? oh and as for mousasi he is the man !!!!
Wow, he looked like Fedor at the start, with his stance and waving his hands around. Yeah I think Hendo and him would be a cracker for sure.
Anyone reading this and happens to be within 5 feet of Shamrock please slap some sense into him…
He pronounced Sokoudjou’s name wrong throughout the fight, if it wasn’t ‘Sou-joku’ it was ‘Shin-joku’…if you can’t pronounce it just pick one and stick to it already.
Anyway, rant over; great fight!
the comentator kept calling him sujoku !!!!????
gegard was just toying with him
he let soko reverse him just so he could reverse back lols
I like how Frank started calling him Sudoku!
you hear the announcer callin him sojoku?
Jukerbor you’re a nut-hugging idiot. Mousasi won without effort? Oh really? Watch his video interview at sherdog.com and he talks about how difficult and talented Sokoudjou was for him and that he was surprised by how Soko threw off a lot of his strategy. Sokoudjou has world class, judo, strength and athleticism. His only weaknesses are his unrefined striking game, cardio and weak ground game. If he corrected those last three he’d easily be one of the top LHWs in the world today. Mousasi gave him tons of credit. Team Quest isn’t right for Soko. They’re a great camp but their style doesn’t work for him. He’d be better suited at American Top Team or Greg Jackson’s.
seriously it pisses me off how many opportunities and clear cut openings Soko had in this fight to capitalize on and win but due to his weak ground game, almost nonexistent submission skills and lacking cardio he just let each one slip through his fingers. Mousasi’s guard was lazy when Soko reversed him in the 2nd round and but the latter didn’t have the tools or know how to transition to mount and finish. frustrating to watch cuz he has so much potential to be a great fighter.
