Every fight he gets more dangerous… Log in to Reply PeterParker December 18, 2011 That ref annoys the life outa me. Log in to Reply Muay Thai #1 December 18, 2011 St. Preux wasnt a wrestler, he played college football. How was Mousasi ever a champ in any org. he is so bad. Should have easily beat St. Preux but he started to struggle there. Log in to Reply halo666 December 18, 2011 Worse referee ever…… It’s like like how he wants the fight go not the fighters. Everytime a person stopped punching A BIT he would say LETS WORK WORK WORK WORK OR I STAND YOU UP. Also Gegard was in half guard landing punches and he somehow said STOP and stand up ??? WTF? Log in to Reply Grape Soda December 18, 2011 Mousasi is that good, thanks Bruno, you da man! Log in to Reply Wanderlei "Scooter" Silva December 18, 2011 He really needs to improve his gas tank, especially since he doesn’t want to make a cut to middleweight. That’s the weakest part of his game right now. Log in to Reply sammy December 18, 2011 Mousasi looked decent in this fight, but he should really move to US, train with some actual world class wrestlers and cut down to 185 if he wants to be a legit superstar in MMA. He has the talent but I don’t think he has the ambition Log in to Reply yk December 18, 2011 Mousasi! what were you doing!? A you woking out hard!? Oh my God! Log in to Reply rob December 18, 2011 mousasi is exciting, and young too Log in to Reply Tempted December 18, 2011 Really think he has a shot in the big leagues? Log in to Reply bigsexy December 18, 2011 osp needed 2 or 3 more fights before he fought gegard, the problem with strikeforce is that they have bums then their elite guys with very few guys like osp in the middle so he winds up jumping up in competion way 2 fast. osp has talent but he doesnt know how 2 fight, he has no game plan or fighting style, his reach with his arms was almost as long as gegards reach with his kicks but he never used it Log in to Reply Tsavong Lah December 18, 2011 Gegard is one of my favorite fighters, no question there but that being said what we’ve been seeing happen to him over the last 18 or so months is fairly clear. Gagard was in Japan for the vast majority of his ” dominant fights ” where his striking was A+, strength, speed and present time cardio minute by minute. He knew a move to the states was in the cards for him and so stopped his cycles. When he thumped Renato the cycle had dissipated enough to pass the A.C testing and still high enough to not effect his performance. Every week after that point his test levels lowered and now to the point where we think he may never have had good cardio. Give him some time and his levels will balance themselves out, everything will improve once he passes a certain point in his natural test output. Or so thats how I see it, just my opinion but look how he’s gotten softer looking, where he was ripped in those tell tale areas that come from certain supplements he’s become smooth. His skill has only increased as will he himself with the passing of time. The human body is a miracle, we can almost heal many things with just that, time Log in to Reply jim December 18, 2011 “…riding him like a ****ing bronco.” LOL Log in to Reply asdf December 18, 2011 I think the reason he gasses a bit is cuz of his posture. look how hunched he is…. how do you manage to fill a decent breath with that posture. He looks like he has a turtle back. Log in to Reply johnwayne December 18, 2011 Muay Thai #1 Says, in 12-18-2011 at 00:39:50 from 126.96.36.199 St. Preux wasnt a wrestler, he played college football. Get your ****in facts straight before you start shooting other people down. Log in to Reply Twana December 18, 2011 Mousasi is the man……….. Log in to Reply gunnyhighway99(Panama) December 18, 2011 Gegard apologized after the fight, saying that he had the flu and it sapped his gas tank. Good win against a green opponent, but Gegard needs to step it up in his next fight. Log in to Reply Maximumpain December 18, 2011 Mousasi dominating a grappling heavy fight?! Nice. A little boring, but nice. Log in to Reply BamBam December 18, 2011 complete dominance by Gegard,UFC needs to sign him asap! Log in to Reply mymmastuff December 18, 2011 I want to see him in the ufc right away! Log in to Reply Thxer December 18, 2011 I think Mousasi’s prime time has already come and gone. He had all the potential to be a great champion, and is still a great fighter, but he’s starting to show signs of burn out and he hasn’t even had the chance to show his skills in the UFC yet. And wow wtf is up with this horrible ref? Log in to Reply Chacarron December 19, 2011 Gerard would be pretty damn dangerous if he just worked on his cardio. I would enjoy to see him in the UFC against some top opponents. Log in to Reply Muay Thai #1 December 19, 2011 LOL! High school wrestling and college level wrestling are lightyears different. From what I’ve read he didnt even wrestle in college. Get YOUR facts straight johnwayne! Log in to Reply wtf December 19, 2011 Sloppy fight from both fighters. Mousasi needs to actually fight top competitors. Log in to Reply vsmoove December 19, 2011 These guys both sucked… at any point, either should have submitted or GnP’d the other guy to oblivion. Neither will do well in UFC. Log in to Reply dilleywilley December 19, 2011 He still has a wrestling base which mousasi does not. So yes he did out wrestle a wrestler.
