At 185 or 205 this guy is going to get tooled. I like watching him fight, but he’s just not on the level of the top 10 guys in the UFC. I hope he proves me wrong.

You are correct. I did some research. It depends on body positioning. You pass out at different time lengths due to body position. Standing choke 4 secs, Sitting choke 8 secs, Lying down choke 12 secs. It also depends on how tight the choke is. If there is some blood flow, the fighter can still hang in there. What I was referring to is that many people have died from chokes being applied simply because their bodies could not handle. This is why street fighting is so dangerous. You could be killed or accidentally kill someone by applying a choke. So always be cool and think about each situation. You never know how someone’s brain will take the trauma.

Mousasi should go down to 185 in the UFC.

The Jones fight is a style mismatch…

1. Mousasi can’t wrestle Jones to the ground Jones is a Greco Roman Wrestling pro who elite wrestlers can’t take down.

2. Jones Height, Reach and Power will be too much for Mousasi it will like Shogun vs Jones.

3. at 185 Mousasi really only has to beat one or two fighters to get to Silva who would beat him.

4. at 205 in the UFC there is huge Swede, powerful wrestlers and better Strikers than Mousasi its a no win situation at 205 in the UFC

Kyle gave up. Never go to the ground with Mousassi. Refs said, “Good thing is he wasn’t gonna be hurt in a choke.” You can die from a 3 second rear naked choke because it shuts off blood to the brain if you are not highly trained and properly revived. Announcers are dumb MMA is taking over.

I’ve been saying for a long time, Mousasi has what it takes to beat Jones. In any event, Mousasi should be a welcome addition to the UFC LHW division.

Ref should have touched Mousasi sooner and said release. Mousasi did nothing wrong, he is supposed to wait til the ref pulls him off. This is a cage fight. Announcers are dumb
