Manhoef should just stick to kick boxing, there only like 101 escapes from a triangle.

Yeah, I definitely though Manhoef was going to take the whole GP. He said after the fight that he didn’t expect the fight to go to the ground so he didn’t train for it…complete rookie mistake from a very experienced fighter.
I don’t know that it would have helped him much anyhow. His ground game isn’t too wonderful to start with as he most relies on Dutch kickboxing and takedown defense.

I have to admit I really underestimated Gegard Mousasi! Damn, guy is killer and deserves my respect and apologize because I thought he would be over matched by Manhoef’s speed and power. I guess that didn’t matter.

i think anderson silva would try to stand and trade with manhoef, and not fight as smart as fight as Mousasi, and be overwhelmed with manhoef’s power… i’d really like to see that fight.
