don’t confuse your ignorance w/ greatness. Roach did a fine job w/ A.A. jabbing game for Fedor. A.A. has a glass chin w/ bad choice that cost him the match. He understands distance and striking, and A. Silva needs to be coached by Roach.

I respect Roach, because he has done so much for boxing and even if Boxing fans hate on MMA, I don’t hate on boxing as far as a sport. As for as it’s promotion, that’s another story.

I have to admit I did start laughing when I saw something saying that Roach said Tito’s hands aren’t bad considering what happened to AA. Then again, I don’t think Roach taught AA to throw flying knees. Though listening to the guy, he might of caught a few of them.

I remember watching Freddie on ESPN Friday night fights with my dad when I was younger. A true warrior with tons of heart Freddie is. He is one of the most respected trainers in the fight game. And if you have to ask who is Freddie Roach you are definitely no fight fan. More like a person pretending to be some huge fan of fighting because its the “cool” thing to do these days. Poseurs!

Freddie used to fight professionally and is now regarded in boxing one of the elite and legendary trainers. Remember MMA fans, that MMA fighters are now GOING TO HIM to improve their striking/boxing skills. AA, Tito Ortiz, A. Silva to name a few. Freddie also suffers from Parkinson’s dz, despite his condition he still remains to be a sought after trainer. Pay some respect and educate yourself.

Some of you ppl are retards. Freddie Roach is one of the best boxing coaches in the game…his most famous pupil being Manny Pacquiao.

He’s relevant to mma cuz he gets a bunch of mma fighters showing up to his gym who want to improve their hands: arlovski, ortiz, mousasi, hardy, etc…

He readily admits he doesn’t know that much about mma…i remember he was surprised when arlovski threw a flying knee at rothwell…he laughed and said ” i didn’t know you could do that”

And no, he didn’t say fedor sucked…he specifically said fedor has bad technique with his hands (he wings punches)…and from a strictly boxing point of view, he’s right…but it works for fedor cuz it’s mma, not boxing.

so what, he got a couple names wrong (called griffin, rashad)…he’s not an mma guy, he’s a boxing trainer.

And he sounds the way he does cuz he has parkinson’s disease.
