frank was an animal in his prime.. look at those leg kicks!!!
I read that Zinoviev never fought again after that fight.
he was a can
Frank needs a title shot A silva lets do it dana!!!!
Aah the days before drug testing were so fun. He’s awesome regardless, but…yeah
he wad undefeated as a professional fighter before this… and yes he never fought again
steroid rage!!!!hes still an animal but silva would run through him now.his best days are behind him now.cung le vs silva would be an excellent fight.who would win?
thats gnar
Yes, I agree Steve Jennum, good old roids makes it more entertaining to watch, i.e. baroni, coleman, and their roid rage antics and interviews.
Frank went to collect his oppents teath
didn’t that guy get his collar bone broken real bad ?
The slow motion, watching how low frank gets, and when he changes momentum in that takedown, is incredible.
Cung Le would lose horribly vs silva
I dunno man, that San sho thing Cung Le was in was no joke. Intimidation is the factor
The only reason Cung Le beat Shamrock was because Frank was pig headed and wanted to stand and fight. If Frank pulls his head out of his own bum in the rematch, Cung will get tooled. Similarly Cung would get totally tooled by The Spider.
yeah frank could of taken cung le down whenever he wanted to he just didnt cuz of his stupid “showmanship”. hopefully vs diaz shamrock will fight to his potential and not just put on a show
It’s been a year sense Shamrock fought Cung Le, I guess in that time everyone has forgotten how badly Le whooped Shamrock… Le Broke Shamrocks arm.
Shamrocks downfall was his arrogance and ignorance in regards to fighting Cung in a stand up fight. I also would like to disagree with the assumption that Anderson Silva would destroy Cung. Silva is great fighter, versatile, quick, good hands, good feet, knees, and BJJ. I think this is an even match. Le is 3 time world San Shou champion with a standing game that is rivaled by none, legs are like baseball bats, great hands – his kick punch combos are beautiful – throws and slams. If you haven’t seen a Cung Le San Shou fight, do it – his throws and flying scissor takedowns are amazing. Apparently he is also a great wrestler, and has and is training BJJ. Over all I think Cung has an advantage on his feet, but the question is could he neutralize a Silva takedown. On the ground Silva has the advantage. I like both fighters, lets hope it happens (in or out of the UFC).
Ok, now this is a stretch, but I think it’s funny. Cung Le beat Frank Shamrock, who beat Phil Baroni, who beat Ryo Chonan, who beat Anderson Silva… So by that you could deduce Le could beat Silva : )
Last thing, Cung should stick to fighting… Has anyone seen him act, maybe he just gets shitty roles, but damn.
I don’t see Anderson Silva going for a takedown on Cung Le either. It would be an entertaining stand up fight
I agree with you all. frank could have easily beat cung on the ground but wanted to trade fists cuz he’s a cocky son bish. hope there’s a rematch so he can prove all u cung nut huggers wrong.
