Well it really doesnt matter what you think Frank because last time in the cage Brock destroyed your face and in any future rematch will do the same thing again. Shouldn’t you be more concerned about your rematch with Noguiera than with a guy you have no chance of ever beating again?

Frank was great as a commentator for WEC and would really like to see him on Fox for UFC fights. With that said his ego and at time’s abrasive personality may work against him in getting the opportunity from Dana.

@swordsmansmith, you make it sound like frank mir is 0-9 against brock. last time i checked brock lost as many fights against frank as frank has lost against brock. im willing to bet if they faught again, frank would beat brock. frank is a much better fighter who can win in a multitude of ways, whereas brock still needs the takedown and for his opponent to be unable to get up. people have brocks one dimention (size and strength)figuered out.theyre not intimidated by him anymore.

Mir is about the best commentator I’ve listened to. The Strike Force douche bags were far and away the worst except for Shamrock. Rogan has turned into a nut licker and Goldberg is, well, just Goldberg. I’d like Mir and Shamrock to take over the UFC commentator positions.

Mir is the best commentator other than Rogan. Rogan is getting crazy but I think he is looney from years of having to co-commentate with Goldy. I thik my dream team would be Rogan/Schiavello(SP?) and the FX broadcasts should be Mir/Pat Mil or other combos of the four.
Mir is 50/50 on Lesnar so saying that Big L would pummel him again isn’t smart. Mir has also gained a ton of mass since they last fought. When Brock gets made into gate keeper they could potentially fight again.

yeh mir is good he was also on mmalive on espn but he stopped making appearances after the trash talk with brock during their last fight which i thought was lame…..he can get carried away sometimes but if you have chael sonnen on that show you should definitely have mir especially since jon anik isn’t on the show and is now commentating for the ufc or something..

Mir is actually a really good MMA color commentator…I loved hearing him do the commentary of the WEC fights…he made the WEC fights enjoyable and his insight was always right on…he’s my favorite outside of Joe Rogan. With that said, He should be a little more professional and not poke fun and be judgemental toward Brock Lesnar when it comes to commentating. Brock actually did a decent job. The fighting biz you can talk trash, but slamming a fellow commentator is not very professional.

Mir is a good commentator. He’s not winning me over being disrespectful to Brock here, but Brock deserves it after the BS he pulled after the UFC 100 fight so whatever. Overeem will beat Lesnar. I’m not sure what dude Mir is looking at, but Overeem is a LEGIT HW these days. The only way Lesnar wins this fight is if he can break Overeem mentally first. 1.I’d love to see Mir in a commentary position (especially if they’re considering Brock’s retarded ass)
2.I’d love to see Mir vs Lesnar again. I disagree with the guys who say Brock will smash him again. I’ve seen Brock’s brute strength (which was his only weapon) be carved down to nothing in the last few years. Mir will make it a fight in the rubber match.

overeem is nothing he has no cardio what so ever and frank is right in every aspect! I watched a fight with him in k1 recently on hdnet fights and it was the best ten fights of the 2000s or something like that and poor lil overeem almost got knocked out,if they didnt stop the fight he would have.He sucks hes just another hyped up Fedor is all he is.
